MohsalOne of the larger nations on the continent, Mohsal spans a vast chunk of the east coast and consists largely of great forests whose depths and many secrets remain unexplored. The inhabited part of this once great nation sits mostly along the coast with several towns and cities resting further inland, dotted along the rivers that flow out to sea. Once a proud and dominant nation, the tide now seems turned against it, its power tarnished by weak rule and political in-fighting. The old fortresses in the north now lay abandoned and in the south vagabonds and rebels pillage and plunder unchallenged.Topics: 1, Posts: 5Subforums:

VoldasLocated in the deep South of the Western continent, Voldas can be considered two countries in one. The northernmost half is hottest as it sits closest to the equator. Few settlements can be found here and only the most hardened nomadic tribes have managed to make a living in the desert. Shielded from the blistering heat by a sweeping mountain range, the southern half of the country hosts few farmlands. There is no single recognized capital, though each of the four largest cities (Tallis, Memosa, Mirril, Arelis) certainly considers itself the most important. Most people visiting Voldas only have business with the South and tend to avoid crossing the arid northern border if they can avoid it. The Voldans holds little sway or interest in the affairs of the desert north which has become a safehaven for criminals laying low.Topics: 1, Posts: 2

Khoros (Closed)Ten peaks stand guard against foreign invaders and only the Roaring Gates, a narrow passage through the mountainside, allows entry over land through the southern border. Along the West and East, the small nation is surrounded by tall mountains and cliff faces. To the North lies Staleworth's bay, a safe-haven for merchant ships, and the primary hub for a vibrant slave trade in the port-city of Syntioch. Eskhor, the capital, rests further inland and is surrounded by a scattering of satellite towns and villages. Khoros capitalizes on it's slave trade in peace time and on hiring out it's expert footsoldiers to other nations, often to repel bandits, quell rebellions, or drive back wild tribesTopics: 0, Posts: 0

Athesh (Closed)Athesh is a small, peaceful nation bordering Khoros to the north that has few worldly ambitions. Under the rule of a fat and jovial king—the Honey King—trade, culture, food and merriment seem to be the nation's only real interests. Talk of warriors and warfare are beneath the cultured people of this nation and it only posses a handful of token, ceremonial forces of its own, frequently relying on mercenaries to do its dirty work of repelling wild tribes. Yet not all is well in the kingdom of merriment and pleasure. Deviancy and corruption are beginning to fester and rot climbs slowly higher up the pillars of government.Topics: 0, Posts: 0

Sumir (Closed)Sumir is land ruled by sultans, tribal leaders, merchant princes and desert warbands each attempting to carve out their own small portion of the vast desert. War and trade seem the only constants in this land of ever-shifting leadership, proving the old adage that the desert can never truly be conquered. Indeed, travelling through the center of Sumir, where the heat is most unforgiving, is a death sentence without guidance from the few hardy tribes that brave it. There are but few shelters there, ancient ruins half-swallowed by the sands and distant oases offering brief respite. In the southwest, the city of Bahs stands as a gateway to the West Sea and trade with the city Velora of Mohsal. To the southeast, Quma sends caravans carrying affron, cinnamon, sumac, and precious resins into Athesh.Topics: 0, Posts: 0
